2011 was an interesting year for me. I initially had a job that I was unhappy with but ended up getting a different one a little past mid-year that I love.
We bought a house after almost a complete year of looking. We LOVE our house and every month when I pay the mortgage, I remember how much I love it.
We bought a puppy. And that puppy died unexpectedly a few months later. It was devastating. We are still not over it. She was like a child to us and oh so beautiful.
In the summer of 2011, I started having really bad back and neck pain. I then started having ridiculous eye pain. I thought I had a brain tumor but turns out, my spine was just out of whack and a vertebrae was putting pressure on the nerve going to my eyes. After a few adjustments, I felt 90% better.
I started watching the NBA again (more in a post on that later).
I started playing basketball again, for fun. It is glorious.
I started running again. I finished my first 5K in July 2011.
And that pretty much sums up everything that happened in 2011.
